Many different trades (i.e. painters, tilers, sheet rockers) have a tendency to use floor drains as their own private waste disposal system and ultimately clog the new plumbing.

Drain-Net now provides a simple solution to avoid the costly, time consuming job of cleaning and removing solidified materials from drain lines. Simply install one Drain-Net in each floor drain and walk away. At a minimal cost, each Drain-Net will stand guard 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while holding approximately 20 lbs. of solid waste. At projects completion, simply revisit each floor drain and dispose of the used Drain-Net in a fraction of the time required for conventional clean up.

In residential applications, one Drain-Net will last approximately three to four months and eliminate the need for harsh drain cleaning chemicals. In addition to capturing hair, soap scum and other potential clogging agents, Drain-Net will also collect rings, earrings, contact lenses, and many other valuables that sometimes escape down the drain.

• The DRAIN-NET is a disposable floor drain strainer consisting of an elastic nylon membrane bag attached to a specially designed ring that keeps the membrane bag in place.
• The DRAIN-NET will work in 1-1/2”, 2”, & 3” floor drains. Simply insert the nylon membrane into the drain pipe below the floor drain grate.  When the bag fills up or the drain gets sluggish, remove the DRAIN-NET, discard, and insert a new one.
• DRAIN-NET keeps all construction debris, spackle, paint, tile grout, wood scraps, garbage, etc., from entering your drainage system through the floor drains.
